Make A Wish

makeawiah.jpg Last week it was my husbands birthday and this was one of the cards that I made for him. A series of stars created firstly with the Stampin Around wheel “Swirling Stars” (104425) Then individual stars using the ‘In The Stars’ Stamp set (111502) and the stars punch out perfectly with the large star punch (113652) Cardstock was So Saffron and Taken with Teal.

Inside the card I added an extra strip of the So Saffron cardstock with another stamped star. The brads on this card design were fasten ‘back to front’ so to speak giving a slightly different finished look. This ribbon was a scrap I had left from another project. It had 3 eyelets set in it so I popped the bards through those holes.

Until next time ….

Chocolate Thank You’

thanku-choch.jpg These are one of my range of little ‘Thank you’ chocolates for workshop guests.

Inside the Elizabeth Shaw Chocolate Mints sit perfectly inside the punch out left from the Scallop punch (109877) Then you can use the scallop itself to decorate the front of the matchbook cover. (I double layered mine with a white one pucnhed from scrap) The Sentiment ‘Thank You’ is from the ‘Seeing Spots’ (107007) collection. This is is a Two Step kit and works like a charm. You can overlay the stamped images one at a time for a great layered effect.

A White Signo gel (105021) pen adds the dots and scallop highlights created with the scallop edge punch (113654). Simple but effective eh?

Happy Stampin’

Until Next Time….

Cute Baskets

basket-maketake.jpg At last weeks workshop we made thses cute little baskets. A simple cardstock square, stamped using the fab ‘Whimsy’ roller ( 109688) on Coral & Chocolate Chip cardstock with Chocolate Chip (110065) ink.

A simple layered handle and side embellishments stamped with laydbugs from the Garden Whimsy collection (113052). Stamped in Real Red (109924) Much fun, simple to do and a good quick project for my guests to make and take home. Using punches is an instant hit at any workshop, this one used both the scallop and circle (x2) punches. Not my own creation but one seen and used many times.

Happy Creating!

Until next time…

1st Workshop Success

Well that first workshop is now over and it was a great success and much fun for all. Here are a few images from the book of ‘Workshop 1′. My sincere thanks to my gracious guests and I look forward to the many fun times we are going to have in our new Stamp Club Classes and Stampin’ Up Workshops.

My guest enjoyed small handmade gifts, a door prize draw, technique demonstrations as well as 2 Make’n'Takes. I enjoyed the stamping demonstrations, the laughs, the chat and the nibbles! It was a late night for all but the best of fun. Roll on the 24th April :D

It was a blast!

Until next time…..
