Can I just say a massive thank you to everyone for there kind messages, in many forms, over these last 2 weeks. Its been the toughest of times but the family have been there for each other every step of the way and supported by some wonderful friends.

DadDad is sorely missed but his legacy lives on in us all. He was my Dad for 17 years and the best Dad I ever had and there were 2 before him. The funeral was a beautiful if a devastating affair, he would so have approved. Everything was conducted by the family and went as well as it possibly could have. Now we all have to get back to daily life and learn to live without him, not an easy task.

My husband and the children are due home today from Liverpool a school starts here tomorrow. I have had the weekend at home on my own to try and make a dent in the ton of chores and tasks needing to be done. Some headway was made but it will take a few more weeks to sort everything out. I am a mile behind on some things but there was nothing I can do about that now so its up and on the best I can.

My baby starts school tomorrow and a new chapter begins. As sad as I am about him growing up so fast he is such a good kid and a pleasure to watch grow and blossom, I can’t help but be so proud of him and as I cut him loose I am confident he won’t go far….he loves us too :)

I wish you all well

Until later xx
