Design Recollections

This page was created for todays Lilypad Blog challenge.

Kate and Jacque produced these fab doodles for release last Friday and the blog challenge was to create a layout with them and a black & white photograph.

Ok my photograph is not entirely black and white but close enough

My youngest girlie got this keyboard for Christmas and daily she can be heard tinkering away upstairs.

She really does believe she can play which is classic to listen too.

I used some of the doodles as background images ,  some of which I blended. Then once the paper was printed I layered and added more. The title is a mixture of vinyl and velvet ‘Thickers’, dymo tape, an MM stamp & ink and small alphabet stickers.

A small boy child helped me stick on the piano keys which caused much hilarity , they were most squished by the time he was finished but after he went off to bed I recovered them ok haha!

I am off  to lay down my weary sore bones as I have suffered all weekend with dreadful flu like symptoms which I am not finding easy to deal with today. I have way to much to do to be ill! *sigh*
