Now this kit blows me away!! Often I look at a digital kit and a few things or pictures spring to mind. Once they are done I move onto the next. When I first saw the content of this ‘Build Your Own’ Kit I at The Lilypad I was blown away. I am not the only one either, its had rave reviews everywhere I look and its no wonder really.

The mix of fabulous colours, really creative embellishments and amazing doodles leave untold possibilities for so many projects. All very exciting!

More of my Easter gift plans sprung into action!

Gift BoxThis gift box as a basic template I have used in Guirlguiding projects many many times. This time it got the digital design treatment!

All these fabulous elements came out of the March kit.

I just love hybrid stuff, I love the creation on my screen and the process to get there. Print it out and it takes on a new life of its own.

Now, you know when you really have too much to do but you know you have that new stash just sitting there and you want to play play play! I felt like that with this kit. I just so needed to play on a digi layout, just for the fun of it.

So I ignored the housework and played, shame on me!

On Mothers Day last weekend the photography shoot did not go to plan as it started off sunny so we ran to get dressed and out to my chosen location but soon the rain drops fell and the sky greyed over, poop!

However, sheltering under a nearby bridge I took a few shots of the kids anyway. This is one of those shots.

Clour my WorldJust how cool are the colours in this kit? I love them. I also had a lot of fun playing around the the ‘Barely There’ alphabet letters. They come in clear, edged in pink and edged in blue. I played with gradient overlays and careful shadowing and got my desired rainbow effect.

A little creative journaling on paths plus stringing  extras onto the ‘Star String‘ made sure I was hours playing hahah! This looks so cool printed out, even if I say so myself *blush*

Much more to come from this kit, you wait and see :D

Until later xx…
