digi 1Doing it Digi, the new digi scrapbooking course from Kirsty Wiseman that I started this week kicked off with some basic lessons and the beginnings of a layout, featured on the left.  More work on this to follow and it will be interesting to see how it ends up.

I am really looking forward to getting into this course to get a handle on some of the finer details of Digi scrapping. I know I could have stuck it out on my own and figured it but hey ho this course is peanuts (£20) for 6 blocks and I have no doubt will teach me more because I will make the time to do each module rather than try to find the time to mess about myself. Money well spent in my book!  Kirsty is a fab scrapper, digi or paper and her instructions are of the no nonsense kind and I like that, a lot!

Then Kirsty set us a challenge, find a freebie kit (well I may have a few now, not all free I might add lol) and create a page based on what we had learned so far.

I got a little carried away hahah! This was one of the pictures I found recently and scanned in determined to catch up on scrapping Halloweens past. The kit is a freebie and the overlay is one of Kirsty’s gem giveaways.

I am determined to crack this nut, I just need more time and I here you all say “so what else is new”

My husband suggested a way to find a couple more hours everyday…………Get up at 5AM he said!

Yeah that sounds like a good plan *rollseyes*

Until later xx
