Mini MonsterIt been Scraplift challenge week for me. The UKS Birthday cybercrop set a couple of challenges and then I set one on another forum I frequent.

Every now and then its fun to take inspiration from anothers layout. You get some pages into books and the brain work is reduced considerably haha!

This first one is lift from Deirdre, I can’t link you to the original but its fairly close to this. I choose it at random from a gallery and its fresh and modern feel really suited. I had these papers recently come from Banana Frog. They are Piggy Tales ‘Hansel’ collection and I love them. This is my mini monster dressing up in one of his many costumes.

Layout

This next one doesn’t really resemble the original in any other way but the sketch layout. This is Basic Grey’s ‘Obscure’ and I am glad I finally used some of it and a load of the mad die cuts that come with it.

This layout was chosen when you added your name to the challenge thread, you picked a page from the person above you in the list. The original layout was by my friend Wheety. I have known her for many years now as we both were members of another on line community with a completely different obsession at the heart of it haha! Least said the better I think ;)

This is James when he was just 6 years old. He was obsessed with Buzz Lightyear and this was our first Halloween together and so he was Buzz, no great surprise.

I have been scanning a lot of the early pictures of the kids, so many of them mean so much and need to be scrapped.

I get sidetracked when I start scanning and time disappears as I look back at the children when they were so small. I am sure I am not alone in that.

LoThis final one was a challenge to scraplift one of your favourites. I have quite a few favourites but I have never scraplifted any of them before. I chose this one which was created by KimmyS.

Kimmy has quite a unique style and one I admire and always have. She is also a Rusty Pickle Chef which I think is just WOW. I have a real love for all things Rusty Pickle and looking through her gallery is inspirational.

This is Nicholas at 10 months old bawling his eyes out, had to be done :)

Its Monday, School back tomorrow and I won’t be sad. I will get some time to look through the new class PDF file that arrived in my inbox last night on Digi Scrapping by Kirsty Wiseman.

I thought this course might help me get my digi pages poppin so I signed up but I need peace to read through the instructions although I think this first one just covers the very basics which I have nailed but  still want and can learn something from it for sure.

Until later xx
