You may see these words written by me again soon if you are a Design Collective subscriber and you may see these too but in a very different way.
Over 12 months have passed since I lost them and on Thursday I picked up my new Wedding, Engadgement and Eternity rings
I love them even if they overwhelm me a little wearing them. When you first wear your rings, added one by one, it never occurs to you the value of what you have on your finger every day. It was almost scary to think what these cost to replace but even so the originals will always be missed.
But I cannot deny that I love them. I ‘feel’ them every second of the day, in time, I am sure they will feel as their predecessors did, like a pair of comfy slippers!
It was a great day yesterday, my brother, his wife and their beautiful baby girl came to visit. It was lovely to see them and they talked me into going east on Sunday for the ‘gathering’.It will be all the more bearable because they are there (and yes Frazer I mean it haha, I always forget you read [well, skim and look at the pictures mwhahahaha, ner ner, told you I would] this blog)
I got to look through all the gorgeous wedding photographs and they got to see what I took (at last). I printed some out for them and will get the disk ready for Sunday of the rest. I found this photograph of Hazel and Zoe among the 100’s. What a stunner it is! Beautiful, both of them and tonight I could not resist doing something with it
To see what I did you will have to pop over to the Dares blog ‘
Collectively Yours’ for a peak. I will put it in here but not just yet. The dares got back on line a couple of weeks ago and the team are turning out some gorgeous layouts, I get sneak peaks and I just love what is going on and what is being planned behind closed doors!
The Design Collective is getting even more exciting, the run up to Christmas is amazing and I am 100% certain the subscribers will be so impressed with the classes and the fantastic weekly extras that are going out, its all fab!
Yes I am possibly a little bias and over zealous but I do know what is coming and how much excitement and pleasure it brought to the whole team to plan and prepare. It got everyone in the mood for Christmas and gave everyone a real buzz.
So what am I doing up at 2AM? I was doing digi after finishing prep’ing a class. Still on that learning curve but its quite fun when you get into it. I have some lovely kits that I am exploring and this one below is from weedsandwildflowersdesign.com - Some gorgeous stuff over there I tell you.
This kid blows us away more and more each day, I tell you he restores my faith in so many things and is a constant joy.
Blessings, I have many, counting them I don’t do nearly enough but I am going to try harder with that.
Have a great weekend …
Until Later xx…..

Glad things are back to ‘normal’ after your horrendous break in. Love the photo and the digi page - way to go you! Hope all goes well at the gathering - or at least as well as it can x x x
