Well I have put all my eggs into one basket and here I am at the webspace and web  address I have owned for 18 months and done nothing with. I thought it was about time I stop paying for my blog separately to this space and get myself set up on here.
 
This has not been the easiest of task and its not a complete job yet but I am here and running and if it all goes wrong I shall complain bitterly to the person in charge!
 
Erm……….that would be ME!
 
Its a risky business because if I break it I have to fix it and trust me my head is already cram packed full from my recent ‘learning curve’. I started the set up about a month ago and planned to switch at the end of September. Events however overtook me and I felt the need to make the change at the same time as other breaking news. More on that in my next entry ;)
 
So all I can say is welcome. Please do let me know if links are broken or images do not display correctly. The imported posts from Squarespace are all here, as are all the comments. The one thing that did not carry over are the images and I have spent hours re-uploading the last few weeks worth into each of my entries. I will continue to work backwards until I am all set once more. The formatting is not great on these edited imported post, so you will have to forgive that. 
 
I have a separate gallery here which is a little nifty. It has slide-show facilities and bells and whistles I have yet to play with. It displays (after more learning) a couple of blocks on the right, a random image and a latest upload.  Clicking on either forces the gallery to open in the page but for some reason it won’t let you open the albums within. A Job for another day I think haha! You can view it direct at any time if you feel inclined at http://designrecollections.co.uk/gallery 
 
The main site is also up and running but is not complete, more woman hours required as always.
