I have been playing, I should have been doing the Rainbow & Brownie Accounts but I didn’t, I made Journals, ‘Clearly Nakid Journals’ and then I made one up!

Oh I do so love these Rusty Pickle - Mayflower papers, I was positively drooling when I saw them first appear on line and in real life they do not disappoint.

I am so glad that I got the complete set from A Trip Down Memory Lane, all the papers are lush, I have used some from the coupon sheet, letter stickers, the die cut sheet, the phrase stickers and cardstock phrases. Worth every penny.

I had a supply of clear plastic sheets for some time that I meant to do something with and now I have found the perfect use for them. I love the look of these new style clear journals that came out recently but I can’t wait for them to land and now I don’t need too. DIY!

These pictures are of my beautiful niece Paige. She was staying with me recently for a few days. I don’t get to see her very often and it was lovely to have her company this last week,

Its hard to believe she is 14, same age as my eldest son but oh so different. He is like a small boy next to her. She has an elder sister and it shows. Make up & hair done everyday, fashion clothes that leave her freezing and heels lol!

While she was here she asked to make a mini album for her Mum. She does not see her Mum to much, or as much as she would like as she lives in England. So this album was for her and to be full of pictures of Paige and her sister. So I provided the album, the photographs, cardstock, stickers, glue, ribbons etc and she set to work. It was beautiful when it was finished but short of 3 pictures.

So off we trotted to my make shift studio and tooks some photographs. She is such a poser it was funny! We did get a set of lovely shots though and she was pleased.

I was so pleased with them I thought they deserved a book all of their own and so that is what I did today.

All of this taking my mind off my missing 3 year old who is having fun with his grandparents at the caravan in South Berwick. I could hardly see for tears leaving him yesterday and the journey home was horrendous. I hate M8 traffic and dam roadworks GRRRRR!

So the day is done and just another 40 hours until we pick up Nicholas… I think I might hold out but I really need to do the accounts tomorrow

P.S. Looking at this now I can see I forgot to put the ribbons on my internal tag pages *snort* Off to fix and add my journalling now. And I have added all the full size versions of these pictures to the gallery, all clickable thumbnails in there.
