How Long?

Class 26 - glazed pen journalling on photos. How long since I updated this blog :-O I don’t reckon that has happened in a very long time, I am such a waffler normally! However I have been very very short on time as this time. I am nothing but a clothes buyer, taxi driver, social calendar manager, hairdresser, make up artist, entertainer etc etc …for my kids.
But before I go any further I have to mention my weekend away last weekend. WOW! What a fantastic time I had and what wonderful people I met. I had no real idea what I was walking into but I need not have worried. There was not one person in the house that I would not spend time with again and more of it. I laughed and laughed until my sides hurt and tears only threatened when it was time to say my goodbyes (that being all Debs fault, she started it)

Class 27 - Embossing with string
I feel as if I have made some friends I may well have for a long time to come, I hope that is true as it would be a real blessing and one least expected. I will have some photo’s to share soon, mine were pants and Jen & Archi ‘Paparatzi’ did a fab job and some are winging there way to me for you to laugh at.
Plans are afoot to meet again soon, possibly in October so fingers crossed we can all sort something out that suits because I loved my time with them and ‘need’ more. Many thanks to the fabulous Clare and Suzanne for making all the arrangements, Charlotte for her fab taxi service to and from Heathrow Airport, Roz for her company on both very protracted journeys, Jaf for such wonderful company and quilling lessons, to everyone I met for just being fab & groovy and Debs, what can I say, you made my weekend

Its been a big week since the breakaway time I had and oh boy am I glad I did get away before all this madness. Monday was Chelsea’s Valedictory and I cried buckets and was seen by some P7’s who told Chelsea haha! She was a star and I will make an entry on this on its on soon, it deserves it.

Friendship Squares for a swap 4×4 Mixed Media PieceTuesday was Chelsea’s BIG Dance at school and I was stunned by just how grown up she looked and I have to say her natural beauty left me speechless. We had a lot of fun together leading up to this, shopping for a dress & shoes, picking out accessories and then curling her hair and helping with make up, I loved every minute as much as she did. I can’t begin to express how proud I am of her, from a very shy frightened little girl has grown a young lady of real beauty and that is just on the inside
*warm fuzzy Mummy moment*
Wednesday was my other daughters performance in the School Choir and she shone like a star and sung so beautifully, another very proud moment for me. Today was Nicholas last day at Nursery and a party to finish the term. He was so excited and Mummy’s were invited to watch the presentations at the end. Can’t believe he is now heading for a pre-school year and Whitney moving into Primary 6 is startling to say the least but to know that tomorrow is Chelsea last day of Primary I have struggled with but struggle as I might, its going to happen and she will be on her way to High School, can’t stop that clock no matter how much I wish too.
I leave you with her in all her refinery……my little girl….my little lady

Until Later xx ……
