Design Recollections

That is what I am today….whizzing from here to there and only now getting to sit down with a coffee and 5 minutes peace, well I say peace but I have 2 in the dog house doing Maths at the kitchen table, that is about as ‘peaceful’ as it gets

Managed to do today’s BPS 52 Card Pick up class before breakfast (acetate college) and then it was off to the last training session in my bid to qualify as a Heartstart Training Instructor and I am now in possession of a certificate that says just that. Tis done and now most of my ladies group and I are ready (supposedly) to take on the training challenge. We shall see how brave we are when the first booking comes in hahah!

I managed 4 pages of my 8×8 Birthday book for my friend last night and my target for tonight is the same. I have the printer running printing the placemats I designed for the party and the place cards are finished all bar the names. Once again I seem to have left everything to the last week!

This last page is one I finished yesterday morning, It is a Design Collective class from Jenni Leon and I added a little extra ‘pop’ to the flowers just because I had this technique in a recent 52 Card Pick up class. Bending the petals like this is so very effective I just had to have a go on a full layout. Loads of bling and sparkle and just right to accompany my very bling/sparkle loving 10 year old.

Now off to get those pages done.
