Water Water Everywhere and Not a drop to Drink
I am afraid today’s blog entry is not the planned one. Last night around midnight I discovered water pouring through Nicholas’s playroom ceiling. After a frenzied hunt for the source, I discovered a burst radiator in a bedroom upstairs. I had to then wake my daughter who was sleeping in the room and start to drain the system after turning off the water as the radiator could not be isolated. Two rooms are now soaked and two carpets ruined as well as waking to no heating or water this morning.
Andrew never made it home from work last night as his flights were delayed into Heathrow meaning he missed the last Glasgow flight home. He is however here now and is trying to get the radiator isolated so we can turn everything back on.
Guess what?
None of he valves will turn or move a cm! Now he is capping the pipes at floor level. Nothing is ever simple is it?
Off to stick my head in the oven………..Dam, its electric!
Until later from soggyland

{{{hugs}}} heather. What a pain - hope you get it all sorted soon. And I take it from the relative calmness of your post that none of your scrapping stash was affected
