Ok, not a lot of housework done but lots occupying a 3 year old and then a couple of hours this afternoon just playing around. I have been trying out different things with mediums again and can’t show you as none of it is dry yet. Lesson one in this game, plan your projects and get your hand made embellishments and titles etc done first. The next day they will be dry and ready to go onto your projects  ;)

LaughOften.JPGThis close up is a peak at a layout I did for Angel Crafts DT. On this I had a Heidi Swapp Mask to play with so out came the paints. The title is cut on the Cricut and then layered with texture paste to give a rough look and feel. The coffee stirrer wooden frame got the old paint & crackle glaze treatment. So my lot right now is to mess about as much as time allows haha!  Actually I did 3 8×8 today for a friends birthday album so it was not all messing…..

My last stash spend this month (has to be or I am in trouble) was at A Trip Down Memory Lane. Even more 7 Gypsies papers , scrummy Napoli, and 97% stickers (I will never live long enough to use all of the stickers I own) and a load of chipboard for various projects.

The BIG news of the week is a really lovely bundle of cutness in the form of a new baby for the family across the road from us. We live opposite each other in a private road and we all have got on well since we moved here. Joan gave birth to baby Beth on Tuesday morning, a healthy but small 6lb beautiful baby and they came home today. We were invited across to meet the new addition this afternoon. How lovely it was to see such a tiny new born and how good she was too. Not a peep (a few hiccups mind you) from her and she stayed awake the entire time we were there. Lovely!  Beth is little sister to two big brothers, Ewan and Daniel, extra special that they were blessed with a sister.

I wish you all much fun, health and happiness.

Until later xx ……
