National Scrapbooking Day

Today is National Scrapbooking Day (In the USA < link to NSA site), so we are joining in too) so to all my fellow scrappers I wish you a very happy scrappy day today and hope that what ever you do you feel extra creative and have lots of fun this weekend. Go play …..
There are a lot of extra crops and events around the country today but if your like me and have not got one on near you today or you just can’t go then there are a extra challenges and NSD activities on line you can get some great inspiration from and join in the fun.
Design Collective Members can see a fantastic selection of challenges over the weekend, with prizes too. There are some truly stunning pages to been seen on what was previously know as the ‘Speshal Dares’, now known as ‘Collectively Yours’ (updating yours links would be a good idea) who are also celebrating their 1st Birthday. Perfect timing to go see what wonderful creations have gone up as Dare 52 and join in the fun. There is also the chance to win the very last place on the Photography course which I started this week.
UK Scrappers have a list of events and special deals from sponsors running over the weekend, that info can be found HERE
As for me, I am going to play for sure, I am a bit behind with a few things having been on my own this week as Andrew was away but he got home last night and his parents are here for the weekend (Camped out in my garden in the caravan lol!, more on that later). I am going to take advantage of the occupation of my children and see what I can get done.
I share in this entry a couple more pages from last weeks UKS cybercrop. The first starring Nicholas in a fabulous T-Shirt LOL! Andrew bought this and Nicholas appeared on Mothers Day wearing it, cool or what? It was destined to appear on a page very quickly haha! That class was by Sarah and was a Jillbeans Class Kit which again I did not have and used my own ever growing stash pile to complete. The 2nd was a collage layout from Debly, one of my favourite styles and yet one I fail to do very often, made a mental note to do more like this in future.
So go have fun this weekend, even if you don’t touch a piece of 12×12 8×8 6×6 or if your feeling trendy 6×12, enjoy whatever you do and have a very Happy National Scrapbooking Day.
Until Later xx …..
