Joy.JPGYeah its Friday and Andrew is off for the weekend, how good that is. I am not at all used to weekends with him being around and this causes all kinds of problems for me getting time to go anywhere or do anything normally but this weekend he is home and its the UKS Cybercrop so I might just get to do a few classes.

This page ‘Joy’ is another of those pictures I took of my lovely girl around Easter. I made her a lippy chick book with some of them for her 12th Birthday but needed a page in our family album.

I started this over a week ago and finally got it finished on Tuesday. I set myself a challenge to use the tassel and the wide silver ribbon, they have been at the bottom of the ribbon stash for a year! Not maybe something you would normally do on a page but I am determined to get rid of the oldest stash I own. I used more gorgeous Hambly rubons from Angel Crafts and used some silver stickles to lift the rubons off the page. You can’t really see it all in this picture.

I wanted to record some things about this amazing kid for prosperity. I can’t begin to explain to you what the likely outcome was for her when she was first placed with us. It was not really that great but here she is almost 8 years later, blossoming, happy, stable and very much attached. She is a true survior and I want her to know just how wonderful I think she has done. She is a source of great Joy to me and at this age is all I could ever have asked for. Remind me I said this please over the next couple of years as her teens kick in and she starts driving me bonkers hahaha!

I have had a lot on the go this week and lots to add but the weekend will no doubt be dominated by the cyber crop. I hope you have fun if you do take part but whatever you do this weekend make sure its fun and as stress less as possible.  Take care
