Busy Busy!
Oh my! Where has the week gone
Seems no time since it was Monday and here we are at Friday. Chelsea gets home today HOORAH! I really missed her. A postcard arrived from here this morning which made me smile. I think she has had a great time which pleases me no end.
Had a few projects on the go this week but have had to concentrate on some household and Brownie stuff so its been slow to complete. I made this little fun book for Nicholas to take to Nursery. A kind of ’show and tell’ of his Easter Holidays. The basis of this is a CD Cover booklet. I got his from the lovely Joanne at www.boxroombooty.co.uk , you can see them HERE although they went out of stock as fast as they came in it seems.
There was on on line video somewhere or other that I watched using one of these, names escape me! I thought it a fab idea. Now these come 3 in a pack but I have only used one cover for this. I added two half flag type pages and a 5×5 page. It closes just fine using the ribbon and its enough for what this is. I stamped a lot and used yet more pages I have stored for an age that needed using up.
My Quickutz was kept busy on this two. I Often wondered at my logic in the investment of a Quickutz on top of all the other tools I seem to have including expensive Craft Robo and a Cricut but this is where it comes into its own. Tiny scraps of paper can be used and getting clean cut small letters and shapes for these kind of projects is just great.
Due to impending HUGE bills for roof repairs this summer, holidays away will not be planned again this year. Does not bother me too much I have to say because the children don’t miss out. They each have 1-2 weeks every summer away with their Grandparents as well as other trips and activity weeks.

Fly & Slide Easter this year was spent at home and not at all uneventful or boring for the children. Two had birthdays and we had lots of time out together as a family. I have layouts of each covering their big days and this little book covers our little ones BIG fun adventures which he loved so much.
In between this I have had a couple of projects lying out and more in planning as the arrival of the 3rd weeks classes from the Design Collective. Some very nice projects this week.
Today will be about planning my projects to take to the Angel Crafts Crop tomorrow. I have a couple of things I would like to get done. I am teaching a class for Angela and she tells me this morning that everyone wants a class kit and that this crop is going to be a biggie! Never known so many to be coming LOL! We shall see if they all come back mwhahaha!

Ouch - Yum We did meet a lovely lady at Inkspot when we were there last weekend, she overheard us (Roz, Angela and I) talking and asked about Scrapping classes etc and before we knew it she and some friends were booked into the crop. I am really looking forward to this anyway but it is more exciting having so many new people coming for the first time.
In other news this week I have some lovely projects to work on for a friends birthday next month. Can’t say much more as she may be lurking
I also wanted to mention the amazing success of my Design Team mate from Angel Crafts and on line scrapping friend Suzanne in the recent MM Idol competition. This week the last 3 were head to head in the final. Suzanne did not win which was disappointing for her I know but I can’t begin to tell you how amazing every project was that she turned out and how much the whole of her scrapping friends & online community were rooting or her. I am so proud to know her and she is without doubt the UK idol in all our eyes. A remarkable achievement I am sure he must be proud of. Congratulations Suzanne, I am in awe of your abundant talent.
I have not been the best of bloggers this week but with bit of luck next week will be more ‘normal’ around here. Andrew will be back at work (after a week they get under your feet lol) and kids in school and nursery for the full week proper.

ClimbAndrew has a birthday on Sunday, he is bound to have a raging hangover as he is off out Saturday night with all his work mates at a retirement do. Two of the guys are staying here and the cause of much housework and bed making yesterday lol! So don’t really know what kind of day lies ahead on Sunday but knowing Andrew he will enjoy it come what may and the kids, they just want to eat cake
Until later xx…
