At the End of the Day
At the end of the day, I am pooped! It was worth it though. Chelsea had a great day, presents, chocolate with breakfast, swimming, lunch at Ramsdens, sunshine filled play in the afternoon out in the garden with neighbours and friends and a sleepover with her friends at night. They were up very late but were a lovely bunch who got up very early and entertained me all morning with singing, dancing, cheerleading and a play to finish lol!
This afternoon was tidy up time and then Andrew took them all out for a couple of hours and I got to scrap YEAH!
I started one of this weeks classes from the Design Collective and got it finished tonight. It was a bit dull and the full image was not great so I will re take those pictures in the morning but I really enjoyed it after all the manic activity over the last few days. This peak shot is the only picture good enough for now.
Tonight everyone was wiped and Andrew fell asleep fully clothed on my side of the bed after reading Nicholas a bedtime story LOL! Who has the staying power/stamina in this family?? I type this and my clock says its 23:24 haha! I have enjoyed the peace believe me.
Tonight I worked on another fab class from Ali. This is a coaster book and just the thing I need to make an Anniversary card from. I need to get some quotes and bits together for it, it is my Godmother and Uncles Ruby Anniversary next month and we are going to a party to celebrate. The invitation clearly states no gifts so I have to make something so I don’t get told off lol!
I have that to finish and another layout I have prep’d to take to Roz’s tomorrow . We are meeting with Angela at Inkspot (never been there) tomorrow lunchtime, Having a nose about then its off for some lunch and back to scrap a while. I am looking forward to it.
I sneak peaked this page last week after my photography field trip to Largs. The was one of my DT subs for Jillybeans. I love these pictures and I have to admit that when I saw the bright blue plastic embellishments in the DT kit I did wonder what I could find to match them lol! In largs I spotted these brilliant blue benches by the shore front and knew what I need to do haha! Staged? Just a little
I said at the time how well Nicholas did that day and I have made sure that it was all documented on this page. There is a tag on a small bit of rikrac at the top of the book (under the flower on the ‘d’ in Field) which tells the story.
So now I must head for bed myself. Next up is dealing with James and his birthday, starting tomorrow night with Bens arrival. Then on Sunday I have to pack for my now 12 year old daughter to go away for an adventure week with the school on Monday morning (even though our schools do not go back here until Tuesday) . Can’t believe she will be gone all week Yikes!
Anyway, I bid you all goodnight, thank you for all the lovely birthday wishes for Chelsea and your kind remarks. Anso, glad the images showed at last, Maggie, lovely to *see* you too. Love to all.
Until later xx ….
