Design Recollections

Waxing Lyrical CJI do love the school holidays but oh boy are these pesky kids time consuming lol! We/I have been running around here there and everywhere this last week. Blogging and Blog reading has taken a slide but I will catch up no doubt. The hum drum will be upon us before we know it.

BeeI was absolutely thrilled to get my first ever UKS Circle Journal back this morning. 10 months ago it left me and a beautiful journal found its way back. The girls in my ‘newbie’ team are amazing and every one of these pages is inspiring. Thank you so much to you all for your input to my journal, I will treasure it always.

LouiseIt is my eldest daughters birthday tomorrow so some mad planing and organising has been done this week.

She is having a sleepover with 4 friends and her sister, that bit is a doddle. Hearing her mention it every hour all week has been much tougher

We ordered her (and James, his is next Monday) a mobile phone for her birthday. It was ordered on next day delivery from the Carphone Warehouse last Monday. When did we get it? TODAY! Talk about cutting it fine. We spoke to them on Tuesday
Arleneand for some unknown reason the order was never processed. They did however say it would be here special delivery today and we could track it to get a time. Now when I tried this in the past it has never worked but today I have to say ‘Well Done’ Carphone Warehouse, the phone was delivered within 5 minutes of the ‘predicted’ start of the hour long slot for us. Most impressive.

So her pink phone is now charged, has credit and a few special messages from us all ready for the morning.

I took some pictures of her on Easter Sunday which I just adore and have already used on two projects this week. I shall share them tomorrow.

DeeAndrew is now home for a week Yippee! It has been nice having him around more than normal during April already. We have enjoyed away days with the kids and he is here for the special days this month of which there are a few. James is 14 next Monday, then Andrew has a birthday on the 22nd and our Godson on the 28th. Then comes a whole gaggle of family over the next few weeks. Its a mad time.

Last weekend I enjoyed some scrapping time with Roz, this weekend I am off to hers to scrap on Saturday afternoon. After this I am bringing her Ben back with me to stay over as a birthday treat for James. The boys and Andrew are heading out for some butch climbing and he man activities at the local Xcape arena on Sunday.

HelenJames is lucky he is getting anything after the way he has behaved most of these holidays. Its always the same I have to admit, every year leading up to his birthday or just before Christmas, he gives us an excuse to pull the rug from under him. I know not why???

KateI want to end with a special thank you to Kate who completed the last entry in my CJ and has been the one I have received post from each month. It has been a real pleasure to get to know you a little and thank you so much for your kind words and gift that you sent with my journal. Really appreciated and I love them!
