Washday Blues V1 C2.jpgI took this photograph a few weeks ago for a blog prompt on Her Space My Space and knew that it really should end up on a page in my Book of Me. One of the classes on this weeks first installments from the Design Collective featured ghost letters created using chipboard shapes/letters, laying them underneath the pattered paper and sanding the edges.

I have done this before on a layout but not quite as much as I have done on this one and I don’t think I have ever used letters, just shapes.

Don’t know why I thought of using this picture but I had a load of fun doing it. Sanded on top of a circle chipboard shape so they overlapped. Looks a bit like bubbles although the intention was just to mimic the wash tablet shape.

These are the lovely papers from MM Anothology range, I used these for a class kit at Luxurious Angels last month. Both Angela and I loved this dotty denim look paper, new it would star again on a page near me haha.

Yesterday I was back out in Largs in Ayrshire with the ladies from the camera club. We were after those shots again, needing more for our pool of suitable pictures. It was thee most stunning day, the week has been amazing, truly gorgeous and its set to last over the weekend YEAH!

WhitCycleTrack.jpgI took this photograph of my youngest daughter the day before yesterday when we all went on the local cycle track, I love it, it captures her so well, think this may end up on a scrapbook page sometime.

The ladies came over last night and we poured over our shots trying to choose the best to fit the remit. We are still short of two pictures, so another trip out is needed, what a chore, NOT.. I really enjoyed my ‘me’ time taking photographs on such a beautiful day yesterday, albeit I had to clock watch to get home so Andrew could go to work. It was an early start but worth it.

Last night my little chap was up sick through the night, could not believe it really. He had been very tired in the early evening and gone down without a fuss. He woke with a raging temp and then was sick. Now I was worried this his dramatic fall off the ladder was taking its toll on him :(

It was gone 2AM when I got to bed and here I sit at 8AM with little one as bright as anything eating toast and drinking apple juice, seems fine again, maybe/hope it was just a ‘blip’.

The sun is shining and Andrew is on his way home for a couple of well earned days off. Now I am looking forward to that.

Have a great day.

Until later xx ….
