Together
For the first time in a few years I have Andrew home all day on Mothers Day YEAH! It actually feels like a day off hahah!
The kids were brilliant this morning and I received all these lovely hand made cards, potted seeds and my stunning little flower arrangement was made by Nicholas at Nursery Awww! Soo sweet.. I have his handprints laminated too. Chelsea potted seeds at Guides and made a foam flower to sit in the pot until they grow, how fab is that?
I also got some fabby Autumn Leaves stamps, what a surprise *cough*
from all 4 of them.
My tea and toast was delicious this morning, made by all and delivered with great pomp and circumstance.
This afternoon I am having a family photo shoot. We are all dressed in jeans and white tops and I have set the lights in the studio ready for us all. Last Mothers Day I got some fantastic pictures, different camera, no fancy lights or equipment and they served me well all year in my scrapping. I am looking forward to seeing what I can get this year. Having Andrew here to help control the rabble helps a whole lot and maybe I will manage just one decent one with all 4 children in it, fingers crossed!
Yesterday I scrapped a page in a 30 minute challenge on the ‘Design Collective’ forum. I managed a layout in 33
mins using scraps left over from Roz’s board book class at the Luxurious Angels retreat. My only addition was a couple of extra brads. Don’t think and just scrap is a great way to get things done fast!
So now I am off to have some lunch with my family. I waited a very long long time and the road was not the easiest one, and I have to admit that I do very much love MOTHERS DAY.
I am a very lucky lady to be this blessed.
Have a peaceful Sunday where ever you are and what ever you, Happy Mothers day to all Mothers, Godmothers and a special hugs for Daughters too.
Until later xx….
