Oideyasu ????? ?????? Welcome

Flap CoverThe brand new design from Lippy Chick, The Flap Book has been revealed and will be available from stockist from the end of March. It is a fantastic book and one I really enjoyed doing. One DT project is complete and another on the table. I lurve it! It is a great book and very versatile.
At the end of last year I received a fantastic ‘Alter That’ kit from 3D Jean. I have been desperate to do something with it and when I got my Flap Books, I could not resist having a go at a book that had no real purpose other than the fun of it, just creating for the sake of it seemed like a great idea to me and one I don’t do nearly often enough. So I used part of that kit from Jean and a lot of ink, a Japanese translator and font come in very handy.
I have always been fascinated by Geishas and these images I love. Now I have a whole flap book displaying my weirdness lol! Wonder what folks will think of this is years to come
I had a rotten old day yesterday, felt really groggy and had a headache from hell all day. Today I do feel much brighter and it is just as well as I have a lot to do. I am off to Manchester tomorrow to see a play at the Royal Exchange Theatre.
The Vortex is a Noel Coward play…..
England in the 1920s - the post-War party is in full swing, the English are living life to the full and the enchanting if middle-aged Florence remains a sparkling beauty on the fashionable scene. When her son Nicky returns from Paris with a secret, the veneer of charm and decadence begins to disintegrate as guilty truths are confronted…
It stars none other than the fabulous Will Young!
It has been running 6 weeks and tomorrow is that last night. I am going to the matinee and the evening ![]()
Gentle Geishas Pages 1-2performance. I am really looking forward to this, not only do I get to see how he is in a straight acting role, (no singing and no, not that kind of straight lol) I get to catch up for a couple of 100 people I have not seen in a while including my good friends Jules and Chris. I don’t get to see them nearly enough these days and after this I don’t know when I will see them again. We talk on the phone often but that is just not the same.

Gion Kouta - A Geishas Song There will be much fun and hilarity for sure and I do love catching up.
I have to drive there and back on the same day as Andrew is working Sunday, that bit will not be much fun but hey ho it ain’t the first time I have done this and it won’t be the last either.
The last week of my BPS Classes - Product Playground went live yesterday, now that flew past! I am just catching up with week 5 now so I will be a bit behind at the end. I have to say that I was not overly enthralled by it. I have enjoyed the prompts and Lisa’s inspiration is not in question. I don’t know what I thought I was getting in this class but I suppose I expected to learn more about playing ![]()
Pages 5-6with my embellishments and products than I do at present. There really was not anything in this class that I had not already done. Still it is good to have prompts to inspire you to scrap (I know I don’t need excuses lol) but some direction is always a good thing.
I intend to take up the Design Collective subscription that starts sign ups next week, I am certain that there will be more challenging and inspirational classes contained in these monthly prompts, classes and inspirational project ideas, I mean, have you seen the amazing list of who is in the design team??
Anyway’s I best move my backside and get on with my list for today. There will not be an entry for tomorrow, the next one will be Sunday when I will have the names of the two kit winners from my giveaway offer this week. Its not to late to stick your name on the blog entry, you have until midnight Saturday, what have you got to lose eh?….. Sainara, Best of Luck!
Until later xx ……..
