Back and Not so Dumb!
I am back on line with my own PC, whoopeedoo! and it turns out I ain’t so dumb. Mr Fix IT, who turned up in a red Ferrari (I am in the wrong job) thought I had done a good job and even he had trouble finding the right drivers and one I need for my own wireless connection was not on the system disk that came with the PC (Go figure!), there was one but the wrong one DOH! So I am fixed, kinda, still some bugs and software to sort out but on the road once again. I do need a new monitor (that problem existed before the new OS) and my keyboard is also failing. Do you think I over work these things by chance LOL!
So now I can share some pictures from the wedding that I wanted to show you. This first one is of the cake. Neither Bride or Groom like fruit cake and I believe their desire to have this cake caused much angst with the parents but they did it anyway. I love it! It is a ton of Cheese, all kinds, put together by the Chef at the reception venue. Made me smile I tell you. Each of us was also given a bottle of port to drink with our cheese, a little personalised number.
Now I had personalised wine bottles made for an event a few years ago so I loved this touch too. Me being the savoury/cheese board option kinda gal found this all much to my taste heehee! (Although I do love fruit cake, I never missed it, this was much more fun)
I would not upload any pictures of the wedding party or guests as that would be unfair without their permission but I love this shot of the Bride, (and you can’t see her face) she was listening to her new husbands speech here, he was great and very funny.
So we had a lovely night and it was just the nightmare that followed that I had struggled with. However, Andrew is still away and my nights are lovely and peaceful
I am struggling with time but what else is new. Got some papers out last night for a bit and planned some things. I am at the camera club tonight so no chance of doing anything then but maybe I will take time out from PC restoration later today while Nic is at nursery. I think I need it
Until later xx……

I LOVE the cheese cake. I am a savoury not a sweet girl too and adore cheese. Not a port lover but I’d have coped!

Great news about your PC, and the fact that you nearly did it yourself. Had to smile at the cake, my kind of thing totally. Hope you got some scrapping done after all. Take care x x x
