Yesterday was another industrious day, with both chores and craft projects, a late night working on the projects but here I am on a Saturday morning as always, awake, up and getting on with things. The difference is no ‘hurry hurry’ with the kids for school. That is my ‘Friday Feeling’. I don’t go out to work every day so I lost that ‘thing’ about Fridays a long time ago. However, it still holds true that Friday’s bring some relief from the hum drum of the week.

Now I am a savoury girl by nature but I do love one thing very sweet as a treat and yesterday I did go all out for my treat. This may well be the reason I was up so late and found it difficult to sleep haha! But it sure was worth it.

Friday Feeling.jpgI love, freshly made pancakes, maple syrup and CARTE D’OR Ice cream! oh joy of joys, it take all my willpower not to wolf the entire carton in one sitting.

This prompted a CJ entry for a Photography CJ I had waiting. I took photographs of the pancakes in the making and then the resulting plateful I then consumed in a flash.

Pancakes.jpgI shall add this to the list of mad things I have photographed and made CJ entries on heehee! The Maple syrup bottle image is printed onto acetate (have a thing about acetates at the moment eh?) and punched holes in the A5 sheet and it sits as a page in its own right between the two page entry.

The kids thought I had lost the plot (which of course I have) but devoured the pancakes, syrup and ice cream without a sound. My youngest daughter was away on a sleep over at her friends last night, I hope the others don’t tell her what we had, I will be very unpopular if she finds out ;)

Andrew has a rare weekend off YEAH! That will be nice for us all. We have a wedding to attend today although the church ceremony is not until 5PM this evening, a little unusual I thought. At some suitable point we/I will sneak home to put Nicholas to bed and return to the reception. Must remember to set the tape for Ice Dancing tonight, can’t be missing that.

May get a little more on the project front done today, who knows, might make it out to the garage to work on my printers drawer, oh and I got a lovely first kit from Angel Crafts this morning, I do like this manufacturers papers Yeah! Its all good :D
