Scrumptious Kit!
Today Roz came over to play, well, that was the plan but it didn’t quite work out that way lol! Normally we are very productive when we scrap together but today our heads were not completely engaged. Roz did come into my make shift studio in the drawing room and shoot some photographs. Now that was fun! A bit of photo editing has done too so I think a few tips were passed along the line, it was all good.
Roz brought for me a scrumptious range of papers for my Luxurious Angels class that I am teaching at the retreat next month, oh boy are they stunning! Wonderful colours and some great embellishments etc…I am so looking forward to playing with these, it is going to be great! I have had a sneak peak at some of the class plans and I love them all, it is going to be well worth the visit I assure you. Get yourself over to Luxurious Angels Website for more details.

I am afraid I got that Rose Heart stamp out again and more glittery red and silver embossing powder for these ATC’s for a swap I am in. I actually had some Valentine cards to prepare for a class in the morning, we are going to stamp into some UTEE, so I had a trial run through on these this afternoon. I don’t emboss/UTEE quite as much as I would like, it is quite fun.
I am running a Beetle Drive tomorrow night as a fundraiser for Rainbows and Brownies, oh what joy! We are expecting about 100 people so goodness knows what kind of state I will be in when I get home tomorrow night? I shall let you know. My ‘Official’ resignation as Brown Owl (Effective after the Summer) was read out at a meeting last Thursday night, I am relieved I have to say. These last 2 years have been very tough. I have however, for my sins, agreed to take them on a Pack Holiday in the Summer, I booked that last week. Oh well, may as well go out on a high!

In a couple of weeks I have to present a photograph under the heading of ‘Signs of Spring’ at my ladies group. One of the guys from my camera club is coming round for a second class on basic photography for the ladies. I wanted to head up to a friends farm and catch some shots of new born lambs but there weren’t…..until today…… when 2 were born YEAH! That is on my list to do this week but I did grab this shot of the snowdrops in my front garden. They are hiding at the foot of a tree and I nearly missed them! It brings a smile to see the first flush come in, the worst is almost over, its getting lighter of an evening and when the sun arrives it brings spring a little closer.
Anyways, I am pooped, going to head off. Thanks Roz for your company today, its always a pleasure
Until later xx………
