artdolls 001.JPGI should have made one of my recent confessions about Art Dolls. I have been squirreling away bits and pieces over time and researching info for a while now. I really wanted to have a go at paper dolls. I am not really into ’sewing’  as such although I love sewing on layouts but these little paper creations fascinate me. I doubt I shall be very good at them and I have not dared been brave enough to show any before.

At Christmas, my friend Carol bought me a PSX doll template sheet and face stamp, I was thrilled! I have pottered and played with it on and off. I also ordered some Zettioligy Stamps from the lovely Jean (Of 3DJean Altered art supplies fame) and have been messing with them these last few weeks (after the awful ez mounting job that they were)

So today I played a little just to chill before tonight busy time. This doll you see is the result. She is meant to be chasing Winter away, now I look at her I don’t know if I got it quite right but hey ho it was fun and I have another couple in the planning. The details on her are not easy to see, she is a mix of distress inks, perfect pearls, micro beads and various stamps with stazon.

Her name is ????? No idea what to call her mwhahaha! Answers on a postcard (or blog would do ) and the most inventive wins!
