Remembering the First Christmas
Oh my! Where did that go? I can’t believe its Friday. I have leapt from one thing to another, night and day, all week. It should calm a little now, fingers crossed!

Not had a lot of time to do much due to getting in quite late at night after meetings but I have had my Journal sitting here and have done a bit where I could. 2 more pages now take up space and only 3 days left to do YEAH!

I mentioned at the start of the week about entering a photograph competition at the camera club. Well after much ado, I entered a few prints and was delighted with 2 of them getting 5th places! Now that was a shock given the company I keep there and a good start. It is all a bit of mystery to me still how it all works at the club but at least I found the courage to enter the prints. The down site that all of them were retained by the club and sent off to an external judge to crit. Bugger! I will have to sit through that judging in a couple of weeks time. We live and learn eh?

Favourite Moments

Yesterday it had been planned that Roz and I would meet at her house for a bit of gabbing and scrapping. I set off from my house at 9.15AM. 30 minutes later I had barely made it a few miles up the A8. The traffic was crawling! The weather this week has been quite alarming at times. I don’t ever remember experiencing such regular storms in my life! Feels like it has never really ended since November. I still have water leaks at home as the wind & rain never subsides long enough to stop the flow. The Erskine Bridge was shut to all traffic all day yesterday and the knock on was the terrible congestion I faced. I had to eventually give up and come home. Really disappointing :(

Today I have been tossed and blown like never before. I walked Nicholas to Nursery and had to hold on tight to him for fear of him being swept away. He is loving the nursery and has had no ‘little accidents’ and come home with his spare clothes as we left them. What a success story he is. Once he put his mind to it, he did it! So proud of him. I have really missed him these last two afternoons. Its sooooo quite without him.

I want to finish with a cyber hugs and much love for a friend who is poorly and down. She has had a lot going on this week and I wish I could take some of her pain, but I can’t, so I send BIG hugs I hope and pray things improve for you my friend. You know where I am if you need me. I know she is not the only one reading this blog who needs hugs this week for one reason or another,1)))) < < These ones are for you if you need them.

Until later xxx……………
