Surprise Visitors
Yesterday we had some visitors. My brother Frazer, his soon to be wifey, Hazel and ickle tiny baby Zoe. They arrived at lunchtime and were staying for a few hours, they finally left around 10PM tonight LOL! We all had a great day and I really enjoyed seeing them all. It was especially lovely to see Hazel looking so well after all the surgery & trauma she has had over the last 6 weeks.
Frazer was in fine form, as was little Zoe. She can pull faces for Scotland that one can and I wonder who she got that from?? Heehee!
It is so rare for any of my family to visit, it was a pleasant change and one I hope remains. It will be lovely to be part of their lives and watch Zoe grow. She is such a pretty wee thing, this is going to be fun!

24th Dec - What I love about Christmas
We also got the details for their wedding. 7/7/07, how cool is that? My girls were besides themselves with excitement. I am never going to hear the end of this between now and then lol! They have started planning the shopping trip for dresses already and Dad’s wallet is groaning under the impending strain haha!
I have completed another 6 pages for my Christmas Journal and that takes me up until Christmas Day Whoohoo! Almost there. I am sure I will get this finished before Andrew has to return to work on the 6th or close to it anyway.
I enjoyed putting this page together although I had no idea what I was going to do when I started it bar the background paper. In the end I stamped Santa onto acetate and made an overlay for the page. Under the acetate I made a folder for my recollections of the day. The phrases are stickers (What a find those were way back in November) and title & numbers are American Crafts large Trademark rub ons. A bit of stitching, a couple of brads and a 7G photo turn later and it was done.
It was a lovely day all because we had the children to share it with, laugh with and enjoy the looks on their faces.
Some of these last few pages have been a right ole bunch of pants! but they are in there now and are part of the journal LOL! It has taken me so long to get here I am not doing it over again
