If it ain’t done now it ain’t going to be! Is that not the general feeling at that point in time? I am worn out, done in and as ready as I will ever be. Tomorrow Christmas Eve dawns and what will be will be.

As Nicholas put the star on the tree last week I knew in my heart that it would matter not what happened this week. He is just enjoying the ride despite being very unwell for almost a week now. He has smiled and tried to be happy throughout this illness and I have never seen anything quite like it. He is the greatest gift of all….

All children are of course bouncing and ready for it in any shape or form. They care not a hoot about the missed plans and deadlines and why should they? That is surely the joy of childhood.

Again I have blogged so little this last week and it truly is a reflection of how you can let things get to you. We had more sad news this week and even more turmoil to add to the pile of December woes. Bah Humbug springs to mind!

Tonight it ends here. I can do nothing about any of the problems and sadness and I feel it is the time to get the festive hat on and live a little in a more Christmas frame of mind.

There have been some fleeting moments this last week that I have enjoyed. I spent last Sat night with Carol until the very wee small hours of the morning and we did have a great night! It cheered my weary soul. Wednesday night I was at the camera club and watched a wonderful black and white photography presentation from a very talented gentleman by the name of Peter Paterson. Take a look at his website if your at all interested, you will not be disappointed! Last night the camera club Christmas night out took the shape of Ten Pin Bowling and a meal. It was fun to spend some time with members whom I only get to say Hi to in passing each week.

Baby Zoe, my new niece, got home from the hospital this week too, that was good news. She is doing fine at home and I am looking forward to my first real cuddle next week.

Just wanted to show you these mega cute tiny totes from AMM. They stand just ten inches high and are gifts from my girls. I got these from A Trip Down Memory Lane at the very last minute and with the wonderful service Jill & Mel always provide and some luck for once from Royal Mail, they turned up yesterday! I ran into Craft Heaven and Carol helped me fill them with crafting goodies. They are stuffed with glue, stickers, pre folded cards & envelopes, little rubber stamps, BIG girl scissors, chalk inks and glitter. Can’t wait to see there little faces heehee!

Santa has been kind to me too this year. I have winging there way to me some studio lights which I am so thrilled with. No excuses now for poor family shots lol! (Just need to work out how it all works!)

I also have some wrapped goodies under the tree which will no doubt bring much pleasure in around 30 hours.

No matter where you are or what your circumstances I hope you find a little joy and peace this Christmas.

In todays day and time,
it’s easy to lose sight,
of the true meaning of Christmas
and one special night.
