Supplies at the ready and were off!
The 1st of Dec saw the start to many things, including my ‘Journal Your Christmas’ class from Shimelle. For the first time I did not get the prompt but I download it tonight from the Yahoo group file. I had not a second to spare today anyway so it matters not. I am however determined to day these each day (maybe one day behind as we go) and so despite the late hour I got the intro done and supplies finally decided upon. I have a ton of Christmas papers to work with but I have started with Blonde moments and we shall see how that goes.

The pantomime tonight was a complete hoot! I was howling with laughter, I always do. The lead roles in these local productions has not changed in a few years and we have come to expect the hilarious banter and ad libs from them. PACE is quite an infamous source of your talent across Scotland (and beyond) and these yearly panto’s are just not to be missed each year. Inviations

The 1st also saw the distribution of my daughters birthday invitations. This year we are doing the sleepover thing. Her choice (yikes!) At least there will just be 6 of them, think that is more than enough hahah..I made up these cards and velum envelopes for her and tonight as the phone rang and rang and rang (mainly enquiries about Panto stuff) the Mums of the invited children accepted and spent more time talking about the invitations mwhahaha!  I have her Lippy Chick Flip book Birthday Card ready, just the actual Birthday Greeting page to do so that is good. The Flop book is launched this week and well worth having a look at. It is a fab little book, so unusual and easy to work with. Check them out at www.lippychick.co.uk I had an email from Angel Crafts today which said they were in stock there and Angela is running a prize draw for all who purchase between now and the 10th.

My daughter, who’s birthday it will be, was more excited about the fact that she could talk about Christmas, she does make me laugh. It has been a house rule (and now a school rule) that we cannot start the endless chatter about Christmas and what it may bring or sing (so out of tune) the millions of Christmas carols and songs we get subjected to each year. Tonight on the way to the Panto, both my girls had us (I had two extra passengers to take)  in hysterics as they screeched out Christmas tunes. Oh what joy December is? ( and with my lot the singing runs well into the next year! We had to ban it in July once teehee…

Craft Heaven Card Class

I also had to make the quick dash today into Craft Heaven to drop off the chipboard, layout and instructions for Sunday’s crop. The card on the left is from yesterday’s class, a Sizzix snowman in BG, so cute!

So it was a non stop ride today and is my excuse for crafting and blogging into the wee hours tonight.

Tomorrow I am off to see Roz and the girls, looking forward to that, but not before I go into Glasgow to the Guide shop for Rainbow Promise badges. The list of things to do really never does end does it?

Andrew was due home tonight but late flights conspired against him and he is now tucked up in a Heathrow hotel poor soul. Well I think its time I tucked myself up. There has not been one single night since last Monday I have made bed before 1AM…….and oh how I need my beauty sleep ;) Its nearly 2AM now ZZZzzzzzzz

Take care all xx
