Getting there…..
Every day this week I have worked hard in what time I have had to get through my ‘must do’ list. November was always going to be a toughie as I had taken on so much and I knew I wanted to make my cards and other Christmas gifts and decorations. I am winning the battle so far and its a relief. I do enjoy the crafting lark, I wish I was rich enough to employ staff to take care of all my chores and leave me to play all day every day LOL! A girl can dream eh?
These are Christmas ATC’s for a swap that I finished today. I love this stamp and would never have embossed it normally but it needed that edge, something different, or so I thought, so I did it anyway lol! Then watercoloured the image with distress inks. (I do so like this malarky Carol)
Eldest pain in the jacksy Son has been banished to his room to study over the weekend and the others were really great today. Got everyone sorted out this morning in rounds of baths and haircuts and then they played quite happily. Chelsea took charge at lunch and they made their own sandwiches (kind of lol). Bless em, they do try. We had a giggle in any case and that was the point.
After lunch they retired to play various games and watch some Tv etc and I got on and did some DT work. A sneak peek sparkling ovee there >Oh oooo I love Christmas, fab excuse for excess glitter and bling hahah! I also managed a CJ entry this morning before anyone else got up so it was a most productive day. I might add I did do 4 lots of laundry as well
I only managed to get to watch one episode of Lost last night as it was much later than planned before I finally sat down to watch it. Roz, I only have a few episodes so don’t you be losing my DVD lol! I need em alllllllllll……First one was breathtaking….I am going off to watch No2 before I collapse again
Sorry I missed the crop today but I bet I got more done here mwhahaha. How was Angela’s lovely home baking girls? and how many LO’s?…..spill……spill
Tomorrow I am heading east to visit the old git. The kids love visiting Gran so what can I say? She seems to be hanging in there for now and resisting the urge to puff but I am not telling her I am coming so I can check it out for myself (How mean of me!) I need some cardstock from the Papermill at MacArthur Glen so I can kill two birds with one stone.
So now as Parkinson comes to an end on the TV I am heading next door to curl up in front of the log fire (yes I put it on this afternoon and its just lubbly) I shall do my blog round & catch up in the morning as my eyes are blurring now haha!
Take care all x

Heather beware at the Paper Mill in Livingstone - they have some big shot dies and some scrummy bits…
Hope you are well

Wow, how do you get so much done, Heather. I’ve only just finished the cj entry that I started 4 days ago!!!
A log fire, fab! We’ve got a real flame gas fire which is lovely but you don’t get the gorgous smells that you do from a real one.
