684128-518577-thumbnail.jpgTwo Sing Fa la la la laSince Friday I feel I have been caught in the spin cycle and I would like to get out the machine now please hahah! Head is dizzy but what else is new eh? I have had a lot to do over the weekend with a busy weeks plans ahead so there was no messing around here. The weather has been dire with horrific high winds so staying at home and being busy was the best option.Friday was a lovely day with Andrew and Nicholas. We went swimming in the morning and what a little star Nicholas is in the water now. He launches himself off the side of the pool into the water without thinking and swims and kicks away really happily in the water. He dives down (with Dad’s help, arms bands not conducive to diving lol) for toys from  the bottom of the pool too. Fantastic to watch him improve so fast. We then had a beautiful lunch at the nearby Fox&Hounds, bliss! Friday night we played Monopoly with the elder kids so all was as fair as could be.Andrew went back to work on Saturday and is not due until tomorrow, its not been so bad. The kids have played well together while I played catch up with chores and laundry (pah!) 684128-518574-thumbnail.jpgWarm MittensIn the evenings I have been finishing off other craft projects including a Lippy Chick book which I now do not like one bit, gutted!  So its back to the drawing board  for that one. I have prepared 4 card kits for the craft group in the morning and that has taken most of the day to put together. I felt I had to do something as we were supposed to be playing with the new Cricut but its not here as yet. It will probably land here on Tuesday or Wednesday, too late and to make matters worse I am told that the Christmas Cartridge never even made it into this country. What a drama! There are no other dates available between now and when we finish in December to slot in another Christmas Card session. So having purchased and Quickkutz and a lot of dies, we are playing with these instead. 684128-518573-thumbnail.jpgMore Fa la la la la I have made up packs with all the background papers and inserts etc already cut and folded so that the ladies just have to cut and decorate the embellishments. If we run out of time and they have everything cut they can at least take these home to finish. I think these are real cute and I am sure the missing Cricut won’t matter too much….yet!I have really enjoyed messing with cards. What a difference a year makes. I though last years cards were nice, my cards this year are in a whole new league hahah! That is not to say they are great or anything, just better than before ;)All of these dies and the quickutz were bought at Craft Heaven as were many of the inks, glitters and fab papers. It most certainly has put me in the Christmas Spirit. I even got out a load of beautiful charms and findings that I bought from Carol at Craft Heaven and made a start on stocking fillers and card gifts! Last year I was not at all ready for Christmas and it showed nearer the time, all to last minute for me. This year it is going to be different and that starts in the planning and is happening now!684128-518576-thumbnail.jpgMiss ClausI have to add a Thank you to Carol here before I go. I had a DST emergency yesterday and run into the shop looking like death (poorly tum) and with 3 of 4 kids in tow. She never batted an eyelid and whilst I made an emergency stop in the loo she entertained them all sorting, pricing and checking dies LOL! What a production line! Bless you, the kids loved that and are still talking about you wanting to kiss Robbie Williams on the LIPS!   *insert shocked faces and the stereo sound of YUK!* teehee……Also should say that Carol is hoarding a bank account draining amount of Tim Holtz stamps. Go in if you dare ;) I am going into the shop again on Thursday for the new cards classes, gawd help me. best wear me shades I fink!A message now for Anne: The make of that Christmas stamp you wanted is Stampendous  (Christmas Wishes to You and Yours) and Carol is ordering you one A lot of work.Quick Mum update now, she is ok, doing alright as it goes and when I enquired about her nicotine intake she claimed to have had only one at 12:50 today and nothing since. Well I don’t know about that. How can you have none for nearly two weeks, have one and then no more????….ho humNow I need some advice before I go. I bought some Perfect Pearls from Carol too (Yes I pay her wages all by myself hahahahah) and I love the look & feel of them but how the heck to you stop them rubbing off???
