2510 005.JPGI got home from Scrappers Paradise late last night, absolutely exhausted but with a tote bursting with lovely layouts and thee most lush mini book I have seen in ages (just needing photographs and finishing touches) and stash. It was a great weekend and I did enjoy it. Julie and I did every single class a manage to fit in a wee challenge too.

It was well organised and we all had great cropping spaces. Loads of room to spread ourselves out and get to it.

Scrapbook Central were on hand to supply our every need as well. Wish I could remember the lovely lady who sat there all weekend, she was really lovely.

I met loads of lovely people and saw some wonderful work too. I even helped out judging one of the challenges, no easy task as everyone had completed such lovely work. I bought loads of challenge kits to do at home as there was never going to be anytime to do them over the weekend. One of the kits was a MM acrylic paint collection, I was very pleased. This kit inspired me to go looking for some Jo Sonjas paint that Roz and I had talked about last weekend and I found some on Jillybeans which was really pleasing YEAH!

I was well looked after by the lovely Julie and I want to say thanks to her one last time on here. You were a lovely host and I am very grateful for all your kindness. I did a little shoot with Julie as well and having just had a quick browse through the pictures I think she might like a few of them, well I do anyway LOL! I was a bit snap happy over the weekend as I could not leave my D80 behind, oh no!

2510 075.JPGAs soon as I saw the table in the hallway laid with these coffee cups I was drawn like a magnet. The ceiling had large roof windows and the light was amazing. These colours were amazing and I had to have a shot. Love it! This is the 100% unedited version straight from the camera and resized on here. Cool eh?

So much to say and brain is fading, so I shall save more gossip and photo’s until then.

Just one final word before I do. I was very pleased for Roz and Angela that the Luxurious Angels Retreat seems to have gone so well. Pleased as punch for them. Roz also ‘outed’ herself as thee one and only Miss Lippy Chick I wish you all the luck in the world with your new business(s) and I am proud to be part of your team.

I also can now tell you that I have been invited to teach a class at the next LA retreat (oh crikey!!) So get your deposits paid because it will be worth it for the laugh at my class at least hahahaha!  Watch out for more news soon.

Nite world. xx
