The Zoo
Firstly I would like to say thank you to all my bloggy friends who have sent me such lovely messages and left the lovely comments on my last entry. It is something I have wanted to explain for an age and goes some way to explaining my numerous LO’s of Nicholas. When you understand the history, it makes my obsession of scrapping and photographing of him seem more reasonable lol!
Thank you

MarilynWell today was just F.A.B Andrew was on a stopover in Edinburgh today (crazy but true, an hour from home) and had all afternoon free there so we went across to meet him and went to the Zoo.
I LOVE the Zoo and was really excited LOL! It was a foggy old day and if you know of Edinburgh Zoo it is set into a very very big hill. By the time we reached the top it felt as if we were sitting in the low cloud!
Anyway we all had a great time and were treated some lovely sightings despite the weather chasing a lot of the animals indoors. I have to share some of my ![]()
Snoby!photographs with you as this was a learning curve for me today and my new Nikon D80. I stupidly left my second lens behind but I did manage what I think are a few great pictures (well for me lol) I have a camera club meeting tomorrow night so I have been trying to get some decent shots in case I am brave enough to show them, we shall see!
I can’t believe this leopard shot came out as well as it did seen as he was behind glass. Watching the Penguin parade was funny, watching Nicholas’s face as he saw them come around the corner was even funnier. He was very excited at the sight of all these live animals so close up. His wee foot was stomping up and down, he could hardly contain himself hahaha! Bless him. When we went to the underwater viewpoint he was thrilled to see them swimming around, Nicholas is a big fan of swimming and wanted to get in with them HEEHEE!
After hours of fun at the zoo we all went off and had a lovely meal together nearby. Everyone (Even James) behaved well today, the were all a pleasure to be around.
We got home late but happy, got Nicholas into bed just in time to speak on the phone to Jules (Bluemoonjules, blog link on the right). We are both off to Scrapper Paradise soon so were having a good chat and making plans. I am really looking forward to it, just such a dam shame it clashes with the Luxurious Angels Retreat :( I am going in March to the next one so content I must be. I finally succumb to a rolling tote today. I have im’d and ah’d about this for weeks and today I knew I had to either get one or not as it would be too late getting here for the weekend. So I bought a Mimi tote in Pink and Chocolate, so norty! I went black first ![]()
The Kids & Ithinking how sensible I was being and then changed my mind and took the stoopid ‘get dirty easy’ option hahah! Very ME.
Right must stop yapping but before I do I have started work on my ‘You Think You Know Me’ album from the new prompts from Shimelle. I had great fun last night making the album and today made me choices for the first section. I have not got the photographs done as yet so I am holding back until then.![]()
You Think You Know Me - Album I dedicate the Green glitter ‘ME’ to my Shimelle class scrapping mate Anso LOL!
Right, now I must go. Thanks again bloggy maties for making my ‘risky’ entry feel like not such a bad idea (I was worried, this is the WWW after all )
Huggies xxx

It was great to talk to you. Hope you feel better!
At that point I hadn’t read your blog entry about the scrumptious Nicholas, or the fact that you had adopted! I think it is perfectly reasonable to scrap your little treasure!
Look forward to seeing the new tote - you will surely show me up!
