Treasure chest: you have a small chest and you’re going to place things in it that symbolise who you are, important milestones, etc. so that someone years after you’re gone will look at it and see the essence of you. For example, you might place a stethoscope if you’re a doctor or medical student, a Bible if your faith is important to you, etc. Which five items would you choose and why? No photographs (though you could use a camera if you’re a photographer)…just symbolic items.

After thinking on this all day I would put in my chest:

  1. Ipod - Because I have always loved music and can’t imagine a world without it.
  2. My camera - I am not a photographer but I have been taking and storing photographs of everyone and anything since I was a child. Its very much a part of me.
  3. My Wedding ring - Because its my life and what has made me the most happy.
  4. Volunteer Award - Since I was 16 years old I have been a volunteer for some group or other. I am very much a ‘doer’
  5. Wooden spoon - Yes I am a BIG stirrer LOL! I love cooking and good food and this would represent both.

(P.S. Regarding No.3, I would leave put in my wedding ring if I had one, see yesterday’s entry for further explaination! teehee)
