Peas & Sweetcorn
The Theory of Peas and Sweetcorn
Mr Peas and Mrs Sweetcorn wanted a baby. They make a baby together by adding
some of their very own peas & sweetcorn to a mixing bowl. When its time for
baby to be born the bowl is emptied onto a plate and a unique mix of baby peas
and sweetcorn is laid down before you. Say awwwww! Then sometime later Mr Peas and Mrs Sweetcorn wanted another baby so they added some of their peas and sweetcorn to a second bowl. When the bowl is tipped onto a plate once again, the same peas and sweetcorn make a lovely new baby. This baby shares many things the similar to its parents and its sister but it is different because the peas and sweetcorn landed in a new design when it was poured onto the plate. A unique design but made from exactly the same peas and sweetcorn as before. This would happen everytime Mr Peas and Mrs Sweetcorn wanted a new baby, each adding the same ingredients but getting a different baby every time because of the new arrangement that the peas and sweetcorn would land in. In people the peas and sweetcorn are called genes and it?s our genes that determine what colour of eyes we have, what our hair colour will be and many other things that we share with our families but which are unique to us as we are all basically made the same of the same stuff but every one unique.
Had a super delivery (albeit at 7.10AM on a Saturday Morning Grrr) from Artbase. Some lush new Scenic Route and Scrapbook Wall?s papers. I now have a re-stock of papers to see me through the next few months as I also bought some divine papers from Banana Frog (Piggy Tales & Nu Lime) which are just fantastic. Add these to 2 Basic Gray sets, and the numerous kit packs I have unopened (Including a beautiful Cherry Arts set), and some fab travel papers from Craft Heaven and I really should have no excuses! My photograph order also arrived from Snapfish so much to do.
