Sign’s of Me and Busy Times Ahead!
Sally Said:
We all find it so difficult to put ourselves at the centre of our own thinking.
I have had that saying "Oh to see ourselves as others see us!" going round in my
mind.So today, I wondered what evidence of you being around is there? Coffee
cups, lipstick by the mirror…….whatever they might be.Our page might be
called: Signs of me
Off the top of my head I said:
A fleece, jacket, cardigan or something similar over the back of a chair in the kitchen.
A pair of slippers/shoes in the hall
Unopened mail in the ‘In’ tray
A shopping list on the fridge
Empty water bottle by the sink
Normally a half drunk coffee somewhere
Totes on the window seat
Shortly after I walked through to the kitchen toward the back door to check on the children and low and behold what did I see?
I know myself it would seem LOL!
Yesterday was spent visiting my Mother and later my cousin and her family. It was an Ok day as days with my Mother go. We are not the closest of pairs but we manage. We ate out and then we all trooped around after her motorised scooter as she used the children as donkeys. They carried bag after bag of cushions, mirrors and other bulky items that she can?t carry when on her own. The children were happy enough as they were treated to both chocolate and ice cream for their trouble.
It was very late when we returned and as soon as little one was settled it was BB time, followed by a great episode of lost.
After 11pm before I made it into my craft room and I should know better than to start a project at that time of night but I did anyway LOL! And there I was for a couple of hours creating a double page LO for my first CJ group on UKS. I really enjoyed it and liked the result but a secret it must stay so Kate can enjoy the surprise when it finally makes its way home.
I was also thrilled and delighted yesterday to be invited to do something rather cool for someone I know. Then again today I was asked to do something for another project. All very hush hush but very exciting! Brought a HUGE smile to my face along with traces of mild panic hahah!
Tomorrow its School clothes shopping, Oooooo the joy! Tomorrow night I am hosting a small meeting about our forthcoming Brownie Pack Holiday. My youngest daughter will return, with her Grandparents, on Friday for a very special family celebration (Might talk more on this later). The GP?s will then take my eldest daughter away for a week on Saturday. Sunday brings another, slightly scary, family event. I am meeting new found relatives at my brother house. (Maybe more on this too on another day). So the next few days are a bit manic to say the least.
When I return from my brothers on Sunday I will bring home with me my 2 nieces to stay for a while. I am a glutton for punishment but at least they will all keep each other amused as the UKS Scrapping Holiday starts on Wednesday and I will have enough time before hand to train them up in child minding teehee!
Right must go, just found a load of pre crop challenges I can?t resist!
P.S To my twin Sally, tomorrow’s ME question to ponder will be……………………….Not telling, that would spoil it for everyone else haha!
