Meet Tree the Begonia, is she not just lovely?

I spent most of today being sad. Can’t go into all the why’fors but I just was. Tried to do other things to take y mind off it and in the main that worked.

I started my first ‘Circle Journal’. I signed up to the newbie CJ thread on UKS and now we have a full team and are ready for the off. I have to admit that at first I thought that there would be one journal and each member would add a page making up a 10 page journal but oh no, we each make a journal, pick a theme and they all do the rounds until each of us gets a completed journal back. Makes more sense of course haha!

My theme is simply ‘Waxing Lyrical’ on scrapping of course. A nice broad subject that would allow everyone to add something without too much worry. It will be nice to have a record of thoughts on scrapping from more than just me. Might make it easier to explain to others too if I have the journal to show.

This LO is for my Book of Me. Its a scraplift idea from the book, Designing with Type. All the journaling and type was arranged and printed from my computer and the photograph added later. I thought seen as I donate so much time to this blog and its not going to be around for ever it needed recorded somehow and this idea seemed perfect.

I also scraplifted a LO from Clean and Simple by CZ. It is also about my blog antics as its about being tagged. I have some way to go to get the real ‘Clean and Simple’ look I think but its a start.

I thought it would be quite quick to do but it wasn’t, getting this style right takes a bit more thought and work than I credited it for ;)

The learning curve continues……….
