Not a good start…….
Not a Good start!
Well the day did not get off to s good start. I forgot my eldest son had an appointment in Glasgow this morning (and so did he). I sent him off to school at 8.30AM only to realise at 8.45AM and ran around like a loon dressing Nicholas and myself. We jumped in the car in the vague hope that I might catch him before he went into school, no chance! Had to ask at the office and have him brought out. Still, we made it on time to Glasgow which was a relief.
While he was in I made a quick stop at Staples for some odds and ends. I know I said yesterday that I was not going to spend another penny this month but I really did only go in for a pen. You can guess that this was not all I picked up *blush*. My excuse is that seen I am on a mission to sort the storage out for this room so picked up a couple of ?Really Useful Boxes’ for my beads and sewing that I can easily take around with me from Garden to sitting room etc and that store under the desk. Mission accomplished.
The only thing that was left of my ?must have? storage list was one of those new Spinning Tool Stations, I really fancied that. To cut a long story short I got lucky and one is winging its way to me soon. So that is it! NO MORE.
I spent a bit of time outdoors again this afternoon with Nicholas. It is just lovely being able to do this everyday in the sunshine. We had a right ole laugh and when he went off, worn out, for a nap I set to work on sorting my boxes and shelves. My new Letratag was put to work labling everything in sight lol!
World Cup 2006 kicked off today. Germany got the ball rolling (sorry! awful pun) by beating Costa Rica 4 - 2 Its Englands turn tomorrow *nervous tension* Its out village Gala day and I have to parade with the Rainbows and Brownies at Noon. Be rushing back for 2PM start.
I maybe a Scot but I am the only one in this family of 6 LOL! Good Luck boys.
Tonight I completed this week?s class from Karen (Scrapdolly) I went to upload to the gallery when I discovered I had misspelt a word in the title mwahahaha! So I need to redo the photograph tomorrow in the daylight. Silly billy! I was desperate to work on a LO that I could use my new daisy flower punches which arrived from Bee Crafty this morning. Now that is speedy service. I only ordered them yesterday. Three sizes yeah! Karen?s class screamed ?boy? at me so the flowers will have to wait for another day. Too tired to start another one tonight (I think lol) I also want to lift one of Jo?s that I saw last night. Its just fabulous and I really fancy having a go.
Pam also gave me a link to the ?Efferdare? Blog. I had asked her about it on her blog as she had a great LO inspired by the work on this blog. Its really different and quite exciting to see such a different way to scrap. May have to have a go at a ?dare? myself. Thanks Pam.
Night all
