Home is where I am and where I belong. So good to be back in my comfort zone :D

I am wrecked, Andrew is sick and spent the day in his bed! (MEN) Not even going to go into the weekend madness more than to say I won’t be doing that trip again anytime soon. If I can’t fly I ain’t going from now on lol! The worst moment had to be when the tire went and it looked much worse than just a tire when we stopped to look at it somewhere on the A1. The RAC duly arrived an hour later to say it was ok to go. I was so unwell (jippy tummy), frozen and tired and we lost so much time flaffing around GRRR!!

The kids did really well bless them, can’t moan about any of them really. The sat happily in the car and ate their way there and back lol! This car is great for trips as the can sit facing each other. We took out one of the seats to give more room and it worked well as I could nip back and sort anything out that needed my attention.

We stopped on the way at our favourite watering hole, Annandale Water Services and let the kids run off some steam around the lake. It is such a lovely place to stop when the weather is good. It was not to bad at all on Saturday morning. We stopped there on the way back too and had dinner, well they did, I watched and held on tight to my stomach!

Today was a bit of a right off really, all plans flew out the door when Andrew went sick! I was not feeling that great either so it was a bit of a trial getting through the day. However the sun was out so Nicholas and I spent some time outdoors tidying up bits around the garden. I even cut the grass around the side of the house. Got a load of laundry wash and dried outdoor so not to bad I thought.

When Nic was napping I managed to squeeze in the Speed Scraplift layout. Not quite what I planned but I got to use some of my new Queen & Co embellishments, so that was good. Can’t show it here yet as it is in the secret gallery LOL!

One more LO to finish tomorrow with a bit of luck and May’s points will be submitted. I can’t imagine I will do this amount every month, my BIL’s album sure jacked up the numbers but you never know. So many plans…………lets see how it goes.
