Rainy Sunday
After a week of glorious weather the rain came today. Just drizzled on and off until late this afternoon and then a bit harder for a while. Can’t complain, its been really great.
This morning I finished off my ‘Book of Me’ challenge LO. Not sure about it at all but I had seem to take an age to do it so I submitted it anyway.
I spent most of the day doing a bit of scrapping in between sorting through a ton of laundry. I had to get that done today so I just slaved away until it was done.
Was a bit of an off day really. I have horrid cramps, still have a headache and was a bit glum. My eldest son James is a difficult to say the least. He is particularly awful with breaking electrical gadgets. He got a portable DVD player for his birthday, exactly 4 weeks ago today. Last night he brought it down to us to show us (for a change, he usually hides things) the smashed screen!! Its completely ruined. Said he ‘knocked it’ off his bedside table. I should have known better, I talked Andrew into letting him have the dam things in the first place. I wonder if either of us will ever learn?
This afternoon I started the ‘Stamping’ challenge. I love stamping but rarely stamp a whole background on LO. I thought this would be quick but nooooooo it took hours and as I worked on each element in great detail lol! Honestly, you think I would just get it done. no not me, why have a snack when a whole meal is available?
This photograph does nothing for it, I took 23 pics trying to get one decent one showing the detail on this. It was not to be. It looks bent and beveled and its neither.
It matters not in the grand scheme of things, its for my smiling Chelsea and what a beautiful smile she has too. She lights up a room with it.
This of course is my now famed ‘Scribble Flowers’ Banana Frog stamp. I was going to send this one to Bev but no chance. Not until I get a decent picture done. It looks pants like this hahahah!
Tonight I watched ‘Invasion’ as always, its was really good, something is building and I can’t wait until next week (I resisted the urge to peek on E4). Then I watched last nights SD Fever and it was highly entertaining, as always. Managed to iron all the way through both, only taking my eyes off the screen between dances!
And now I am here, yabbering away. Finding it hard to ‘chat’ on some threads on UKS just now. I post and ramble and its almost like I am talking to myself. Just like here I suppose and here it doesn’t bother me at all, hahah! How daft am I? Still love chatting to the Rumba girls. Jules and Maggie are just fab. My new teamies are very quiet and don’t really say much, I was warned lol!
Oh well, think I should put a sock it in for tonight.
Goodnight world, see you in the morning, I hope
