Scrapping Challenges
Today felt a little like the cybercrop weekend! There were so many ‘Not Going to Bonanza’ challenges that I wanted to do. I had the morning to myself as Andrew took Nicholas out to buy some 7L Really useful boxes for me and pay a visit to Sainsbury’s, what a star! The boxes are great and now my papers and card all live in 4 shiney new boxes.
Last night I finished the ‘Top Ten’ challenge (ATDML) entitled ‘A Promise’ then today I took on a few more. I made a set of ATC’s - Natures Brights (ATDML), then took on the ‘Distressing challenge’. Got another photograph from Rome, The Vatican, done, so that was great.
Next up was Crafty Pastimes Challenge titled ‘The One I love’, another excuse to scrap my baby. I have had these stickers, ‘My Little Prince’, for a long time and recently while browsing my pictures I saw the picture of him asleep in my bed, I thought of that today and the LO is the result. Its sweet but not brilliant LOL!
Then I saw the Scrapfaries challenge and could not resist getting out more ‘Spring Fling’ and my citrus ‘Bitxboz’. I love these pages, so alive, so vibrant and so appropriate given the wonderful weather we have had all week. 3 BBQ’s back to back in May! Unheard of in Scotland hahah!
Chelsea has the most amazing smile, she lights up the room. She suits these great colours and I have to admit staging the photographs today for the papers and embellishments LOL! So worth it, she was fab and I don’t care what anyone thinks of these pages, I love them….(I don’t say that very often) Oh and I managed to stick the ‘N’ in spring upside down!

finished off tonight with a pain in the neck of a baby card. These I can make with my eyes shut but oh boy did I struggle. Think I was all ‘crafted’ out.
I must take some time to look at my camera settings tomorrow. I had a real struggle to get the pictures of the LO’s today and some look as if they are beveled in the middle somehow? The colours are not coming our as well as they should either, I did tweak them but I would rather they were true.
So its been a busy one, all that and I still managed to get through 4 loads of laundry, prepare salads and dressings for the BBQ and various other domestic chores. No wonder I sleep well. Talking of which its time I tried to head upstairs. It the school Mayfair tomorrow so we all have to be up and out of here at 10AM! Wish me luck.
Nighty…..
