What a beautiful day it was today. Glorious sunshine all the way, all the way in the car that is, until we got to West Lothian. The kids were outside playing as you would expect and the birthday boy was beaming as we arrived. He is having a Pirate party with a few friends this afternoon and he and his sister were all decked out in their costumes ready for the event.

He seemed to be pleased with his gifts and soon all the children were running around playing and enjoying the moment. Got a chance to chat for a bit with Aunt I and give the Sizzlet storage box I bought for her, knew she would like that lol!

Nicholas found a pirates telescope and spent ages trying to look through it as he had seen the others do. It was hilarious to watch.

Onto Gran’s we went only to find her still in bed!! It was 2.30pm. Clearly she was unwell and struggling to manage. The children tided up outside the house for her and I did some chores indoors. I made her something to eat and she seemed much brighter by the time we left. I was determined to get home for dinner time and not miss Strictly Dance Fever LOL!….. I didn’t ;)

Haven’t scrapped a thing since midweek and don’t feel like it either. I seem to be getting an ear infection and Nicholas’s eyes looks a bit swollen. Not sure what is going on but certainly feeling a bit lethargic.

Lets see what tomorrow brings…..
